The team at the Fourth Floor salon, led by owner Richard Stepney, developed the interchangeable range of shampoos, conditioners and grooming aids over a number of years with the Italian chemist Corpolibero. As inheritors of centuries-old grooming formulas developed originally by Italian monks, Corpolibero were the ideal partner. The result, the 4th–Floor range, is the perfect balance of tradition and innovation, a distillation of 4th–Floor’s trademark excellence.
Over the last decade Fourth Floor has become a byword for all that is best about the hairdressing experience. In an industry more than usually susceptible to hysteria, they have quietly carved out their own niche offering low-key but expert hairdressing that continues to attract a loyal and influential clientele.

There are four shampoos, each suitable for every day use and utilising different active ingredients. These shampoos do not contain the foaming agent sodium laureth sulfate or any other chemical detergent. The fragrances contain essential oils. The conditioners and treatments contain coconut oil, shea butter, kukui milk and silk proteins to soften, nourish and protect the hair. The styling products consist of a styling cream, volume spray, a grooming lotion and wax.
